EN Drawing from the 2012 Summer Dance Festival performance ‘Layers/Passage’, ‘Bridges’ is an interactive performance along the bed of the Garillis river, which once divided the Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot sectors of Limassol. The river bed of Garillis torrent was once used as the dividing line/ green line in Limassol between the Greek and Turkish sector from 1963- 1974. Beginning over the Four Lanterns bridge, Arianna leads the participants, crossing over and under certain bridges alongside the Garillis Pedestrian Path with a performance of a poetical approach to refer to the past , present and future of the island. The piece culminates in the park of Cooperation and Peaceful Co–Existence where there is the Water Bottle Installation by Edvokia Demetriou. Here the audience is invited to make a wish for the future.
