The performance attempts through elements of ritual, the use of symbolism and theatre to reveal three veils of time within a journey the audience makes from the upper part of the Castle to the underground spaces within a kathodos - anodos as referred to in the Acient Greek Mysteries. Approaching the image of the Kore as it unfolds in its threefold aspects of girl/mother/child - dying/giving birth/growing up, the performance looks into the tension and dialogue between life and death in man's passafe from life to death in the cyclical time. The three veils - the three colours with their spectres ranging fromo life-giving to deadly qualities - symbolize the many different passages within this span of time.
These colours are hidden within us all like different aspects of ourselves and at different times or stages one of these touches or wakes up in our lives. A personal story dance for each one of us but also a collective story dance inviting us all to remember the many aspects of our being towards wholeness.
